When father and son join forces – a dark electro powerhouse

LMX and Sevren Ni-Arb have been collaborating musically for quite some time, as Sevren has been producing his son’s solo project from the very beginning. At some point, Sevren spontaneously suggested that it might be quite exciting if both started a dark electro/industrial project, proposed DUOPHONICE NOISE CONSTRUCTION as a project name and created artwork for inspiration. Shortly after he showed it to LMX, his son approached with his first song ideas and the story hast started.

With DUOPHONIC NOISE CONSTRUCTION Sevren Ni-Arb – mastermind of X Marks The Pedwalk and German Electro pioneer since 1988 – returns to his industrial roots, while LMX once again proves his creative talent after his highly acclaimed solo releases. Father and son now connect the generations and all fans of a harsher style.

After the first two released singles “Always”(MESH1012) and “Trauma” (MESH 1013) Duophonic Noise Construction releases their full length album “Distorted Reality” on April 24, 2025 on meshwork music. 11 tracks present a broad range of modern, dark, energetic and atmospheric electronic music with new powerful and fast club smashers like “Logout”, “Promises”, “Shame” and “Privacy”.

The title, concept, and initial demos for the follow-up album already exist. Sevren and LMX plan to begin work in the studio by the end of 2025. So we can expect new material in 2026.
